Many indigenous healing experiences are now available that in
the past have been inaccessible to the common traveler at any price. They can involve
ceremonies typically reserved only for Hawaiian family. These range from lomilomi
massage to intuitive Hawaiian blessings to guided journeys to the volcano in the
private company of kahuna who can connect directly with the power of Pele herself.
The family packages you see here are for a maximum of ten people and also include
private luxury home accommodations along with van, limousine or luxury sedan (hybrid
where available) transportation--as your daily needs demand--that includes a driver.
We also include a full week of special-diet (if desired), chef-prepared catered
meals at the accommodation, all in addition to assorted special extras that will
keep everyone at every age feeling immersed in Hawaiian hospitality.

Arrival & Dinner
Day 1 - Lei greeting at the airport and pick-up by private
driver, with appetizers, then drop-off at your private villa. Your chef will arrive
in time to cook dinner from your list of [pre-trip] preferred foods already present
for you, including for a light breakfast the following morning. If left to the chef,
a typical dinner for 2 would include saffron-infused risotto over warm-water Hawaiian
lobster, tangerine macadamia nut salad with basil-vinaigrette over local greens
and warm crusty bread and, for dessert, a pineapple brulee with grated fresh coconut
and Hamakua Coast vanilla bean crème Anglaise. (special diets easily accommodated
by pre-trip preference request) Your typical accommodation would be a private estate
home with at least 4 BR and 4BA and a swimming pool, all overlooking the ocean.

Dolphin Swim / Boat Ride
Day 2 – Private driver pick-up at the accommodation at
730 AM for a half-day totally private boat charter to Watch and Swim with Wild Dolphins.
You will join Matisha and his crew for a memorable trip into the calm morning waters
near Kealakekua Bay on the Kona side of the island for your encounter with magical
creatures of the ocean. Lunch will be provided. After your return, you will have
time to rest and recuperate in the afternoon at the accommodation. Your chef will
return to prepare dinner.

Waterfall Hike
Day 3 - Luxury car pick-up at the accommodation at 9AM
to take you to a private waterfall hike and eco-journey in the lush green country
of the Hamakua Coast. Explore the secret places that only the local guides know
and the waterfalls that no one else sees. Lunch will be provided. Return to the
accommodation and relax before your chef arrives to prepare dinner.

Massage & Lei-making plus Private Concert
Day 4 - A morning of relaxation at your accommodation until
9AM when your private lomilomi massage expert, Koni, arrives to do lomilomi massage
for each person (up to 4). This ancient healing art, focused on physical relaxation
and realignment, will help you ease all the aches and tension away from your swim
and hikes on the days before. At the same time, a lovely native kupuna (elder) will
stop by to share and involve your whole family in the sacred art of leimaking. Your
chef will arrive to prepare lunch, shared with Koni and the kupuna, before Koni
resumes his massage work in the afternoon. Your chef will return to prepare dinner,
and then Grammy-award winning native Hawaiian Slack Key guitarist John Keawe will
arrive to perform a private concert, along with his lovely wife, Hope, who will
accompany his music with old world hula.

Journey to Sacred Temples
Day 5 - Private driver pick-up at the accommodation at
8.30 AM so that you can experience the unseen Hawaii in a journey to sacred temples
and other sacred and powerful places on the Big Island. Guided by your personal
kahuna, Pahia, you will pull back the veil on some of the deepest secrets and mysteries
in Hawaii. A kahuna of love, an overseer of the structure of Kanaka Maoli (Hawaiian
life), Pahia is a keeper of ancient knowledge, a keeper of wisdom and understanding,
the professor, the skilled one. The few living kahuna are the preservers of the
ancient Kanaka Maoli, heart and soul. They are the Keepers of the Principle in the
paths known and unknown, the Sacred Bridge Builder, the keeper of the Highway beyond
road’s end.

Helicopter Ride plus Hawaiian Blessing
Day 6 - Private driver pick-up at the accommodation at
9AM for a private helicopter ride over the incredible scenic natural wonders of
the Big island. Afterwards, let the private driver drop you off for your shopping,
beach or museum visit, just to name a few activities you could consider. In anticipation,
your chef will have prepared a picnic lunch to your taste. At 4PM, your kahuna,
Keahi Hanakahi, arrives to provide an afternoon and evening of powerful spiritual
connection to the past and present energies of the Big Island for all those who
desire it. Included will be a deep and powerful Hawaiian Blessing for your whole
family (including ancestors) as well as chanting of ancient mana. Keahi will share
your meal with you that evening as the chef will return to prepare dinner.

Pele Experience at Volcanoes National Park plus Luau
Day 7 – Private driver pick-up at the accommodation at
830 AM for a full-day journey to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park for a meeting with
your kahuna, Nahoku and Kalei'iliahi Kamakawiwoole. Walk the land to the steaming
caldera of Kilauea Volcano and feel the presence of Pele herself as you join her
na kahuna in a sacred bonding ritual personalized just for you. Receive direct intuitive
messages from the Goddess herself as channeled through her Priests, insight into
the deepest parts of you and your essence. The Kamakawiwoole family is a part of
the Order of Kamehameha, their roots are deep and strong, and the gifts you will
receive from the Patriarch of this family and his wife will live in your heart forever.
Lunch will be provided and enjoyed with the kahuna. Your chef will have arrived
by the time of your return for dinner, a full-on celebration luau to bid you farewell
and warm aloha.
